WES families, get ready! Registration for the Color Fun Run opens next Monday, March 17th—and it’s FREE! Plus, if you sign up in the first week, you'll get a special prize from Mrs. Whitt! 🎉
In the meantime, we still need business sponsors to help us reach our $15,000 goal for a walking track! If you can help, sign up to reach out to a local business. Every sponsorship gets us closer!

Save the Date! WES Color Fun Run – Friday, April 11th!
Get ready for a fun, colorful day as we raise funds for a walking track—Wright is the only school in our district without one, and we’re changing that!
We need everyone to participate and local sponsors to help us reach our goal. Know a business that might want to support? Spread the word!
Mark your calendars and stay tuned for details—let’s make this the best Color Fun Run yet!

Congratulations to our 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Shana Vipperman!

Congratuations to our 2025-2026 Support Staff of Year, Mrs. Wendy Cothran!

We would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Honea Path Presbyterian Church for their generous donation to WES!

The South Carolina Department of Education and the SC Education Oversight Committee recently released the 2024 school report cards. Wright Elementary School received an EXCELLENT rating! This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, and community. Together, we are building a strong foundation and continuing to make WES a place "Where Everyone Succeeds."

Happy Boss's Day and National Principals Month, Mrs. Whitt! Your commitment to both students and staff does not go unnoticed. We are grateful for your leadership!

We hope this message finds you safe and well. Thank you once again for your patience and support during this challenging time. Due to ongoing power outages and impassable roads from the storm, all schools in our district will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 3, and Friday, Oct. 4. These days will not be classified as eLearning days. With only one school currently having power, we believe these additional two days will allow for our electricity to be restored and provide our families and community the time to address their needs and support one another.
Please remember that Monday, Oct. 7, is already scheduled to be a school holiday, and Tuesday, Oct. 8, is a scheduled teacher workday. Therefore, students will return to school on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Thank you for your understanding and for supporting one another. Stay safe!

Dear Anderson School District Two Family,

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your patience and support during this challenging time. Please remember to check on your neighbors and lend a helping hand where you can.
These days will not be classified as eLearning Days. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we navigate this situation together. Stay safe!
